What is a PROTABLE pallet assembly table used for?
A PROTABLE table is a workstation for assembling wooden pallets. It holds boards and blocks in a fixed position while the operator nails them with a pneumatic nailer, so every pallet comes out with repeatable dimensions. One person is enough to operate it. We have been building PROTABLE tables in Grotniki, Poland since 2013 and have made more than 700 of them. The range includes 6 models: pallet assembly tables covering 1000 × 800 to 3300 × 1200 mm, and pallet repair tables.
What pallet sizes can be built on PROTABLE tables?
PROTABLE tables handle pallets from 1000 × 800 to 3300 × 1200 mm, including the EUR pallet (1200 × 800 mm) and the industrial pallet (1200 × 1000 mm). The small table covers up to 1400 × 1200 mm, the large fully pneumatic table up to 1900 × 1200 mm, and the table for pallets with 6, 9, 12 and 15 blocks up to 3300 × 1200 mm. For non-standard sizes such as 1140 × 1140 mm we build custom tables, with the design included in the price.
Does a pallet nailing table require compressed air?
PROTABLE tables with manual adjustment do not need compressed air themselves, but the pneumatic nailer used to assemble the pallet does. Pneumatic models also use compressed air for the table itself. If your plant has no air supply yet, we can deliver a starter set: the ABAC A39B 200 compressor (11 bar, 553 l/min) and Stanley Bostitch nailers. The PX1 automatic pallet nailer requires 400 l/min of compressed air.
How many people does it take to operate a pallet nailing table?
One person is enough to operate a PROTABLE table. The table keeps the pallet components in a fixed position, and on models with balancers the balancer carries the weight of the nailer, which improves ergonomics. Output speed depends on operator skill and pallet type.
What is the difference between a pallet nailing table and the PX1 automatic pallet nailer?
On a PROTABLE table the operator drives the nails with a handheld pneumatic nailer, while the table sets the layout and dimensions of the pallet. On the PROTABLE PX1 automatic pallet nailer the operator only lays out boards and blocks in the jig, and the machine drives the nails at programmed positions and in a programmed number. Tables handle pallets up to 3300 × 1200 mm, including 15-block pallets. The PX1 has a working area of up to 1400 × 1000 mm and is designed for plants that frequently change pallet size and type.
Which pallets does the PROTABLE PX1 automatic pallet nailer build?
The PROTABLE PX1 automatic pallet nailer builds pallets with a deck of 5, 6, 7 or 9 boards and 3 bottom boards, as well as skid pallets on runners. The maximum working area of the machine is 1400 × 1000 mm.
Is the PX1 suitable for frequent pallet size changes?
Yes. We designed the PROTABLE PX1 for plants that frequently change the size and type of pallets they produce. The machine has a single work table that allows a quick changeover to another format, and the height adjusts automatically. Nail positions and the number of nails are fully configurable. The finished pallet stays on the opposite side of the machine, so the operator can lay out the next set of material in the jig in the meantime. A good fit for short runs and varied orders.
What power supply and how much compressed air does the PX1 need?
The PROTABLE PX1 automatic pallet nailer runs on 230 V AC (1000 W total power) and requires 400 l/min of compressed air. Machine dimensions are 2800 × 2300 × 1800 mm (L × W × H).
What is the lead time for a PROTABLE order?
Lead time depends on the model and current production load, so we confirm it individually after receiving your inquiry. Does PROTABLE ship pallet tables abroad?
Yes, PROTABLE ships pallet assembly and repair tables worldwide. Within Poland we deliver by pallet courier or our own transport, and across Europe and beyond through trusted freight forwarders. Shipping cost is quoted individually for the destination address.
Where can I see PROTABLE tables before buying?
You can see PROTABLE tables at our facility in Grotniki, Poland (Boszkowska 7, 64-140 Grotniki, Wielkopolska region). We arrange visits during office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 8:00 to 15:00 (CET), ideally with advance notice.
